Boccia can be played by individuals, pairs, or in teams of three. All events are mixed gender. The aim of the game is to throw leather balls coloured red or blue as close as they can to a white target ball, or jack.
Boccia, particularly since the paralympics, has gained popularity in Britain, and has proved popular with many of the young people we work with. The group also takes part in other sports such as Curling, Unihoc, among others. The group provides an environment for both young people and parents to enjoy themselves and socialise with others.
